Breast cancer awareness is at an all-time high, which means more people are being exposed to information about the disease than ever before. However, in today’s increasingly “pink” society, it is extremely difficult for supporters to differentiate among breast cancer-fighting organizations, determine the correct screening guidelines and events to join, and understand how money donated to the cause is making a difference. The American Cancer Society’s breast cancer communications strategy is designed to help position the Society as the leader in the fight to end breast cancer, raising awareness of how we’re making an impact against the disease. The strategy includes resources and tools to support Making Strides Against Breast Cancer efforts across the nation in a consistent manner using unified messaging and the same creative approach.
