Great American Smokeout

Quitting and avoiding tobacco products is one of the most important steps to creating a world with less cancer and more birthdays. One of the ways the American Cancer Society saves lives by helping people take steps to stay well is through the Great American Smokeout, which helps motivate and empower smokers to quit for good. This year, Smokeout will take place on November 15, 2012. Smokeout is also a time to encourage all Americans to fight back against tobacco by supporting efforts to pass smoke-free laws that help keep communities and workplaces healthy.
